David Minor is the founder of Elf Juice — a creative studio for all things sonic and NFT, from product imagineering to deployment. He specializes in physical-to-digital NFTs & sonic branding. He is advisor to multiple brands, blockchains & companies. He is also a trained composer, ballerina, linguist & imagineer — all of which lead him to present day: leveraging art and tech to re-saturate the world with new meaning & experiences.

 

David Minor studied at the Joffrey Ballet School where he received his training in Classical and Contemporary Ballet. His childhood was spent deeply immersed in the arts as a student of the Palo Alto Children's Theatre. He holds degrees in Dance, Voice and Linguistics along with a number of university fellowship titles at such institutions as Stanford, Cal Poly & The University of Varanasi  (as a guest PhD researcher in Indian Classical Voice/Music under the instruction of the renown Saraya R. Sonni). David is one of the original founding members of the Karmanoia Theatre in Berlin. He has also had a broad range of roles in theatre and film. In 2016, David was commissioned by the Royal Danish Theatre to compose a full-length ballet entitled "Hungry for Blue". In 2019, his score for the German film "Helmut Berger, meine Mutter und Ich" was nominated for best score at the Saarbrücken FIlm Festival. 

 

David moved to Berlin in 2005 where he made his musical debut on Nonine Recordings. His first album 'Sparse' was nominated for the German Record Critic's Prize. He has since released a number of albums and EPs with such names as Klaus Scheuermann (Hansa Studios), Ray Okpara (Mobilee Records) and Re. You (Mobilee Records).

 

David’s musical style is a unique blend of elements ranging from electronic post-modern classical, to smoky cinematic jazz. His vocal style has been described as being "... like Jeff Buckley dancing with Billie Holiday in a Magritte painting... " - (Say Hello Max, 12/09).

 

He is currently working on a series of robot ballets, a Hollywood production and is the Director of Creative Partnerships for Pylons — the NFT flagship platform for the Cosmos Blockchain.
